We have some more updates for you today!
We corrected a decenter issue affecting aspheric surfaces. This improves the robustness of fabrication chain evaluation for more complex optical components.
In addition, a bug related to material cost loading has been resolved. Material cost is now dependent on yield. This allows a more realistic estimation of fabrication cost, especially for challenging geometries or tighter tolerances where yield becomes a critical factor.
The big thing with this update is the introduction of a new free PanDao demo environment.
It allows users to run analyses on predefined optical lenses and explore how fabrication chains are optimized depending on design parameters and production volume.
The demo environment is designed to provide a quick and intuitive understanding of how PanDao evaluates manufacturability.
Another new feature is that PanDao licenses can now be purchased directly via credit card. This enables immediate access to the full PanDao environment without additional steps.
Alternative purchasing options such as purchase order (PO) and invoicing are still available on request.
Try PanDao:
Create a free account and explore the PanDao demo environment:

Within seconds, you can run your first analysis and see how fabrication chains are determined.
If you find PanDao useful, feel free to invite your colleagues to try it as well.
