Happy New Year. With the start of the year, we are pleased to release a new version of PanDao. Based on your feedback—particularly regarding prism fabrication—we have implemented several improvements and resolved a number of issues.
We fixed a bug where the wedge level did not properly affect the facet grinding step. Additionally, an issue was corrected where entering a comma as a decimal separator for facet width was not interpreted correctly. We also resolved an error in cases where only warnings were present on side 2, which previously were not displayed correctly. Furthermore, the report layout had been affected by the recent prism update; this has now been corrected.
In terms of enhancements, we introduced a new warning that is triggered when the roughness of prism sides exceeds 100 nm RMS. We also improved the logic used to determine whether optical contacting is required. In addition, users now have the option to explicitly force a contacting method if desired.
We also introduced the ability to enter facet roughness values for both lenses and prisms:

If no specific value is available, please use 800 nm RMS as the default.
In addition, we updated our CDGM material list and prices.
Thank you once again for the valuable input from our users. We greatly appreciate your feedback and encourage you to continue sharing your suggestions with us.
