Thanks to our community. With your help we could fix some bugs with this new PanDao update.
In some very rare cases it was possible that fastest chain was slower than the cheapest chain. With a new formula for the fastest chain this is now resolved.
PanDao will now generate a new warning if no midspatials are specified for aspheres and freeforms.
In addition to that we added some edge shaping cost for aspheres and freeforms.
We also updated our formula on how the center thickness impacts the cost of an optics.
For cemented optics a bug was corrected where cementing was not possible because of too big diameters. This was an error on our side, and it should now be possible to cement optics up to 250mm
We overworked our cost formula when precision glass molding is applied.
And last, we display a new message if Karovs rule is violated on how big the new diameter should be:
