Today we have another release for you. For new features, we added a new option to load typical tolerances for IR, VIS and EUR optics. Please note that by choosing a selection only the tolerance parameter like, diameter tolerance, power, decenter etc. are overwritten. All the other parameters are not changed.
We also overworked how the fastest chain is selected and removed a bug where sometimes the fastest chain had the same speed as the most cost-efficient chain. With the new version, we now also display a message if the fastest and most cost-efficient chain is equal.
For cementing’s we also sharpened our calculations and added a two new input field where the temperature range for the optics and the decenter has to be specified. With this, we can calculate more accurate if there is a problem during cementing.
We also improved our formula for the calculation of the coating cost. Especially for small optics it makes a big difference.
In addition to all this changed we fixed a bug where not all materials were showing up anymore and updated the CDGM material catalogue to the July 2023 version.
As always, we updated our internal database and the manual.
