Today another update for PanDao was released which consist of two features:
The first one is the inclusion of the diameter tolerance in the calculation of the centering cost.
The second is that we improved the results for bestfit asphere fabrication (A two-step fabrication process, applying generation of the enveloping spherical surface followed by generation of the asphere). PanDao takes now not only a pre polished spherical surface for the fabrication of an asphere, it also checks for the possibility to fabricate a fine ground enveloping spherical surface and then the asphere out of it.
